NOSE THREAD LIFT

Originating from Korea, nose threads in Singapore are made of PDO (polydioxanone) material. Depending on individual, different number of threads will be used. As the PDO threads dissolve over time, they create new collagen, and tissue fibroblasts in the skin, which results in tighter skin, hence enhancing the areas definition and contour. The threads are inserted sequentially through a small needle hole at the tip of the nose and threaded along the nose bridge and down the tip to the base of the nose. Once inserted, the threads act as a scaffolding structure which immediately helps to contour, give definition, sharpen, lift and or shape the area as desired without surgery. They provide long lasting effect.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Non-surgical and minimally invasive reshaping of the nose
  • Higher nose bridge
  • Straighter nose profile
  • Greater definition of the nose bridge
  • Lifting of the nose tip to make it sharper and smaller

There may be some localized redness, swelling and bruising which usually resolve within a few hours. There is minimal to no downtime to this procedure and the reshaping effects are immediate. You may resume daily activities immediately after the procedure. The possible risks include, skin infection, sub-optimal nasal height, nasal deviation or asymmetry, unintended erosion of the thread out of the skin inside the nose. There is no risk of blood vessel obstruction, skin necrosis or blindness unlike with nose filler treatment.

About 40 to 60 minutes per session. The length of your treatment will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during one visit. The number of threads required for optimal results depends on individual requirements. The optimal number of threads will be advised by our doctor after consultation.

After the assessment, the area to be treated will be cleaned and disinfected. Then the doctor will apply anesthetic cream before the procedure and an anesthetic injection will be given to ensure that the entire nose lift process is painless.

Though not permanent, nose threadlifts are long lasting, typically from 6 – 18 months. They are made of Polydioxanone (PDO) material. PDO is also used for sutures to close wounds, such as in surgical operations. This material dissolves slowly over time and is absorbed and secreted naturally by the body. Threadlifts also stimulates collagen synthesis under the skin. This enhances connective tissue support that improves the profile of the nose and so some people might notice that some effect of the threadlifts persist longer.
