ULTRAFORMER III HIFU
The Ultraformer III utilizes cartridges that deliver bursts of high intensity focused ultrasound at multiple depths for tightening and contouring purposes. Ultrasound energy is transferred directly into multiple layers of the face starting with the SMAS layer (superficial musculo-aponeurotic system) to trigger collagen renewal to achieve a tighter and youthful skin complexion. Different depths and sizes of the cartridges are used to treat different thicknesses of skin and narrow, sensitive contours with a slimmer transducer for optimal results.

Patients should be able to go back to their everyday routine almost immediately. There may be mild aching for 3-5 days especially over the jaw and cheekbones and minor flushing of the skin which usually resolves quickly. There would be no scabbing/crusting/peeling nor major swelling with this treatment.
Generally, 60 – 120 minutes depending on the area treated, including 30 minutes of topical anesthetic cream application before the procedure.
There will be the sensation of heat in the skin during treatment. There may be increased sensitivity over bony areas like the jaw and cheekbones.
